I quit 2 days ago and I’m worried my baby will think I left him because hes so used to me smelling like cigarettes. Also, I know babies don’t like the smell of smoke, so could it affect him bonding with me?
Just so you know I have never smoked around him only outside. So secondhand smoke was not a threat but the pediatrician informed me that thirdhand smoke can cause problems

Chosen Answer:

Now he will be able to smell you instead of the smoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great job!
As the smell starts to go away, he will get use to the ‘new you’ smell and actually his nose (and the rest of him)will work better without the constant assault of smoke particles. Bonding will not change. Sing your songs and talk to him, he knows your voice and face.

Awesome job.
